BURGER KING DELIVERY DASH

D&AD Award Sumbission

Each year, D&AD put out a range of professional briefs for budding designers to tackle for an attempt to win a Pencil Award.

This year, I tackled a brief from Burger King, who wanted to attract a teen audience to use their mobile delivery app.

The way I decided to interpret this was to create a game attached to the mobile app which would entertain people while they waited for their orders to be delivered, since no one likes waiting for their food.

The players also obtain something instead of just been given an opportunity to solve their boredom; if they gained a high enough high score from the game, depending on their delivery distance, they would be offered a discount on delivery for their next order, making the game appeal more beneficial than typical food delivery apps.
